Feeling Yucky!

My poor baby girl has been exhibiting strange behavior lately, and thanks to my sister, I was able to figure out the source of the problem. Lucy has "silent" reflux. Basically, when she eats, it comes back up and then back down again, causing tons of acid to flare up and burn. She has been getting really bad gas pains lately, and screaming in pain while arching her back and curling up her legs. She has also been sleeping very restlessly, has bad breath, and hiccuping non-stop - all which are signs of reflux. After talking with a nurse at the pediatrician's office, Lucy now takes Axid 2 times a day to soothe the acid. She has also switched formulas, and has to be elevated for 30 minutes after each feeding. We are trying everything we can to make her feel better! It has only been a day, and maybe my eyes deceive me, but I think she is making improvements. She slept better last night (we tilted the mattress) and seems to be a little bit happier. She hasn't been a happy baby lately - her temperment totally changed from when she was born, and that saddens me. I just want my happy, healthy baby girl back!

If anyone knows of anything we haven't tried to fix this reflux, let me know. We want her better asap!
