We are back from Wisconsin and full into summer mode... which means right when we got back, Lucy started showing off for, well, me. Figures. Lucy did amazingly well on the road, and despite a tiny virus, was a perfect angel with the relatives. Now we are well into our daily routine of walking (mom taking on walks, she's not even crawling for real), reading, playing, and hanging out with friends. I love summer!

Happy to be starting the long car ride to Wisconsin!

Roadside parks are fun.

Playing peek-a-book with my bunny book from Grandma.

Swimming scares me, despite having my invincible Elmo suit.

Playing with a block at The Building for Kids in Appleton - definitely a cool place, just not quite young enough for Lucy to enjoy (or us to get our $10 worth).

Just your average, random goat on a roof.

Daddy and Lucy in Door County.

Enjoying a sun break with Sabrina.

Daddy and Lucy in *cold* Lake Michigan.

Vacation is most definitely playtime!

On a cow a Simon's Cheese Factory.

I found her standing at the bookshelf Monday morning (the day after we got back). Show off.

But, her acrobatic skills didn't help her get stuck in a toy bin. She's practicing her diving here.

Being silly with a spoon.

At the farm with a new baby goat... look at the difference one year makes
here.

Lucy loves animals, and I am fully convinced she will be a veterinarian when she grows up. She was overwhelmed with baby goats, Patches the farm dog, tons of baby kittens, chickens, cows, etc.

Here she is telling Grandma Charlotte all about it... with awesome new sunglasses, too (thanks, Grandma!).
Lucy's other new talent is singing. Watch out, Miley.
